Adarian Williams is a versatile actor, creator, vocalist, and arts advocate based in New York City. Most recently, he starred as Kenny in Chicken & Biscuits, directed by Broadway’s youngest Black director, Zhailon Levingston. With a rich baritone voice and a commanding stage presence, Adarian brings authenticity and artistry to every performance.
A Louisiana native, Adarian earned dual B.A. degrees in Vocal Performance and Theatre at Grambling State University, where he developed his talent under the mentorship of esteemed professionals. His credits span celebrated productions such as The Meeting (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.), Zooman and the Sign (Reuben Tate), and The Color Purple (Harpo). His work has been praised for its depth, versatility, and emotional resonance.
As an arts advocate, Adarian is passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices and ensuring that theater remains accessible and reflective of diverse communities. Now rooted in NYC, he is eager to collaborate with the city’s vibrant artistic scene, pursuing opportunities in theater, film, and television.
When not performing, Adarian draws inspiration from his Southern roots, NYC’s cultural energy, and time spent with family and close friends. He enjoys exploring new creative ventures, mentoring emerging artists, and discovering hidden gems in the city. His mission is to push the boundaries of storytelling and leave a lasting legacy that uplifts, connects, and inspires.
